Prioritization is a fact of life in dealing with new feature requests or bugs. Product teams with almost any number of users will eventually get more of these requests than they can handle. Here is how they may handle it:
- Opinion-driven meetings
- Organizational politics
- Feature idea voting systems
- Bug prioritization scales
Not all of these methods are created equal, and none of them are a panacea. In this guest post for Brainleaf, I review several of these systems and describe another prioritization scale that can measure your product's UX progressively becoming more effective over time.
